Hello everyone, this week I have been playing around with some free software called Screencast-O-Matic. It allows you to record video on your computer while you narrate. I find it to be fun. This is also a useful tool to use for explaining how to do things. I have recorded a small video talking about editing images with Word. I will post the video below. I welcome any and all feedback. Please let know what you think.
Hi Lori,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tutorial on editing Microsoft Word photos. Do you use this feature a lot? I have known people to do their own invitations and flyers using Microsoft Word. My only complaint, or maybe it's just my lack of knowledge, but I can't figure out how to change specific colors. So say, you wanted the "H" to be bring red in your "Happy Weekend" example. How can you change that color. For one of my projects I had to copy and paste my image into paint and do it there.
I would love to hear any tips you might have.
Thanks,
Nicole
Hi Nicole,
ReplyDeleteI do use this a lot. I work in the recruitment department at a college in Idaho Falls, and I make flyers and do all sorts of things with Word. I don't believe that you can change the letters in the picture. What you can do is make a text box and type the letters in that way. You can then choose to change the background and cut the letters out. I hope this helps. Thank you for taking the time to read my post.
