Good evening everyone, I hope that you are having a beautiful day. In my Instructional Technology class this week we are learning some really fun tools that I thought I would share. One of these tools is called Jing, and I think I have been having too much fun with it. This free tool allows you takes video and screenshots, and it has a really neat little sun that just hangs out on your computer for whenever you need it. It is very handy to have. If you feel up to it, then I would like to suggest you check it out at https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html . If you go to this page, then you can click for a free download!
One more tool I would like to talk about is PowerPoint. This is not a free resource, and you can purchase it with the Office Suite. There are many different things you can do with slides. It is actually pretty fun to play with. I was playing with motion paths and you can make bouncing balls and just about anything you can think of. I think that PowerPoint is worth buying.
Hi Lori,
ReplyDeleteI've been having too much fun also! I love jing and I think I'll use it a lot. I love how easy and accessible it is to use. I also like power point, but I don't have Microsoft PowerPoint. I use google docs PowerPoint. I have not played around with the edit feature yet and I am hoping Jing is compatible with google-docs. Thanks for sharing!
Nicole
Hi Lori,
ReplyDeleteYou brought up PowerPoint not being a free resource. Well I have good news for you. Microsoft gives student emails free accounts for Office 365. You can either do a google search for "office for students" or use this link. https://products.office.com/en-us/student/office-in-education It's basically the full compliment of Office through a web browser. Its nice because you can access it from anywhere with an internet connection
